Privacy Policy
Last updated October 24, 2026. This is a plain-language policy for an early beta.
What we collect
- Your email address, to send sign-in links and identify your account.
- The chat you upload, only for the moment it is being analyzed. We do not store your chat. Photos, voice notes and other attachments never leave your device.
- Maps you choose to publish. These are anonymized first: names and identifying details are replaced, and only the messages the map cites are included.
- Votes on public maps, as anonymous counts. If you give optional details (age range, region, political leaning, gender), they are stored with your anonymous voter ID, not with your name or email, and groups smaller than 5 votes are never shown.
- Basic technical data (for example an anonymized network address) to prevent abuse and rate-limit requests.
Who processes it
- Chat text is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to produce the analysis and the anonymized copy. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, API inputs are not used to train their models.
- Our hosting (Vercel), database (Upstash) and email (Resend) providers process data only to run the service.
- We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
Other people in your chats
Your chat contains another person’s messages. Only upload chats you are part of. Anything published is anonymized first, and you can ask the other person to approve their side before it goes public.
Your choices
- You can delete your account at any time from the homepage. This also takes down every map you published.
- Anyone can report a public map. Reported maps are reviewed and removed if they identify someone or break the Terms.
- Questions or removal requests: contact the site owner through the email address that sent your sign-in link.
